Shed Home Kits

A shed home kit from Shedz is an engineered steel-framed building package, the structural bones of a livable shed home. You get the portal frame, the cladding, and the engineering. What you do with the inside is up to you and your builder.

What’s Included in Your Kit

• Full portal frame steel structure: engineered to suit your site, span, and wind region
• COLORBOND® steel roofing and wall cladding: 22 colours available
• Structural engineering certification: stamped drawings for your specific build
• All primary and secondary steelwork: columns, rafters, purlins, girts, bracing
• Fasteners and flashings: everything needed to close the shell
• Roller doors, PA doors, and windows: as per your selected configuration
• Delivery to site: anywhere in Australia, including regional and rural areas

What’s Not Included

Shedz kits are the structural shell only. The following are not part of the standard kit:

• Concrete slab or footings
• Internal fit-out, framing, plasterboard, insulation
• Plumbing, electrical, or gas
• Architectural or floor plans
• Council submission documents (DA/BA applications)
• Energy efficiency reports (NatHERS / Section J)
• BAL (Bushfire Attack Level) assessments
• NCC compliance documentation

Available Extras

We can add the following to your kit on request:

• Insulation: wall and roof blanket insulation packages
• Mezzanine framing: structural steel for upper-level floors
• Extra openings: additional roller doors, PA doors, or window positions
• Skylights: natural light options for your build
• Ventilation: whirlybirds and ridge ventilation
• Awnings and canopies: extended roof lines for covered outdoor areas

How It Works

1. Design your shed: use our 3D Designer to configure your dimensions, doors, and colours
2. Get your quote: we’ll price it based on your site location and wind region
3. Kit manufactured and delivered: typically within 3 to 6 weeks
4. Build with full visibility: once engineered, you receive a link to your project with full online access. Every component is mapped, searchable by part number from the Bill of Materials, right down to every screw, bolt, and bracket. Your shed builder or owner builder knows exactly where each piece goes, not just from engineering drawings, but from a complete interactive parts list
